All services provided by Hubbard Regional Hospital are accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Services.

Hubbard Regional Hospital is an acute-care, adult hospital located in Webster, Massachusetts. We service the towns of Webster, Dudley, Oxford and Douglas, Mass., as well as Thompson, Conn. and Pascoag, R.I. We have many Outpatient Services, including Pulmonary and Sleep Lab, Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Physical, Occupational, Speech and Massage Therapy, GI clinic, Cardiopulmonary and a full service Laboratory with AABB accreditation.

Our Leadership:

Hubbard Regional Hospital is overseen by Chief Executive and Financial Officer, William Falkowski, who began leadership of the hospital in August, 2005. The hospital is also organized by a 13-member Board of Directors, chaired by Christopher Robert. Board meetings are held once per month to analyze patient care, discuss hospital finances and administrator services in order to promote the best possible healthcare for the local community.

In addition, administrative services are overseen by the Department of Patient Care Services, Business Manager, Emergency Room Coordinator, and several other members of the hospital's Senior Administration and Department Leaders.

History:

Hubbard Regional Hospital was founded in 1929, known as the Webster District Hospital, located ina large colonial home, originally for nursing students and nurses. In the mid 1950s, a hospital building was erected.

In 1971, an expansion campaign was held to add onto the Gladys B. Hubbard Medical Office Building. The hospital was renamed Hubbard Regional Hospital.

In 1988, a new Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was built.

In the mid 1990s, Fallon Clinic added a medical office building.

In 1997, a 21-bed transitional care unit opened in the hospital. It is now operated by Merrimack Valley Health Group.

In August 2003, Fresenius Medical Care opened a South County Dialysis Center on the hospital campus.
