At Hubbard, more than 200 employees work around the clock with compassion, experience and patience to ensure your medical needs are being handled with professionalism and care. Hubbard Regional Hospital offers a variety of services, from cardiopulmonary services to general adult surgery, and we are constantly adding more options for our community.

Webster EMS, a non-profit subsidary of Hubbard Health Systems, located at 67 Thompson Road, provides emergency ambulatory service to the Town of Webster, as well as mutual aid to the towns of Dudley, Oxford and Douglas, as well as Thompson, Conn.
Ambulances are staffed 24 hours a day with trained medical professionals. Hubbard's emergency department handles all acute care patients.
Hubbard's Emergency Department Staff are continually trained to handle the community's medical needs. Our ED became A Primary Stroke Service facility in October, 2007 . This allows us to better serve those who are experiencing stroke-like symptoms. Our trained staff and physicians hande each case with professionalism.
Hubbard also now offers Urgent Care through its Emergency Department. Extended physician coverage allows our staff to more efficiently see and treat emergent and non-emergent patients as they arrive at the hospital. We don't want you to leave without being seen!

Brand New! It has arrived!
Hubbard Regional Hospital is proud to announce the addition of two Olympus Evis Exera II Platform machines to our Outpatient GI Clinic. Hubbard is now among the first hospitals to bring this technology to its community.
The Evis Exera II boasts high-definition endoscopy, Narrow Band Imaging, sharper and better contrast images, wide-angle colonoscope, more accurate diagnoses, and shorter procedure times. This state-of-the-art equipment is paired with Hubbard's excellent, professional staff and quality patient care.

Dr. Savant Mehta is the principal physician in the GI clinic, where colonscopies, barium enemas and endoscopies are some of the most common tests performed at Hubbard. Flexible schedules are available for all patients.

A quiet, six bed ICU is located in a private wing in the hospital, allowing peace and privacy for families who are experiencing critical medical problems. The HRH Intensive Care Unit is run by a professional and supervisory staff, 24 hous per day.

Hubbard Regional Hospital offers a 16 bed Medical/Surgical unit for all admitted patients. The Unit is staffed 24/7 by certified nurses and PCTs who have gone through proper training. Our Med/Surg unit provides a quiet space for patients to rest or recover.
We are pleased that we have secured, 24/7 Hospitalist coverage.
The staff recently welcomed Nurse Practitioner Doreen Norberg. Doreen will be helping with Hospitalist coverage three days per week, as well as supervising Urgent Care in the Emergency Department.

The HRH laboratory is one of the fastest-growing services for the community, and a department with consistently positive feedback and anincreasing patient flow.
The laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission and certified by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB). We offer a full service, 24-hour laboratory. Our Medical Technologists are well qualified, and our state-of-the-art equipment has been updated with 2007 models. Caring and compassionate customer service is available from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays, 7 a.m. to noon. All of our phlebotomists have graduated from certified programs.

The pharmacy at Hubbard Hospital is staffed daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and offers a person for the hours the pharmacy is closed. The pharmacy assists in providing individualized drug therapy to all patients, reviews patients medications brought from home, and periodically reviews new drugs in the market for addition to the hospital drug formulary.

We are involved in staff education and participate in community outreach programs, such as health fairs. We provide drugs needed to a variety of amublatory services in the area.

Hubbard Regional Hospital is proud to offer a complete, spacious Outpatient Rehabilitation Department off campus, at 72 Cudworth Road (Webster Medical Building). We offer effective patient care for a variety of medical reasons with an educated staff that, combined, boasts more than 100 years experience! Services offered include Physical Therapy, Masssage Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Our Rehab Department is under the direction of Carla DiGregorio-Wolfe, CCC/SLP.

Physical Therapy services include Initial Evaluation/Consultation; Ultrasound; Iontophoreses; NMES/muscle stimulation; Fluidotherapy; Cervical and Pelvic traction; Manual therapy; Paraffin; Therapeutic exercise; Taping; Neuromuscular facilitation and progressive gym programs. Our treatments are desgined to help gait, strains/sprains, neck pain, arthritis, TMJ, overuse disorders and more.

Occupational and Speech Therapy also available (for children and adults).

Massage Therapy: Callie Mangano brings more than three years experience in reflexology, Swedish, deep tissue and more. She works with adults and children and offers Specialty Care services. Hubbard recently also added full time Occupational Therapist Audrey Aho, OTR/L. Aho comes with 15 years experience in the field. She is excited to work with Outpatient and Inpatient procedures, as well as with Accord Adult Health in Dudley.

Partnered with St. Vincent's Radiology, Hubbard Regional Hospital Diagnostic Imaging is constantly advancing under the direction of Dr. Paul Sabel.

The hospital offers ACR-accredited Siemens Mammomat 3000 Mammography, with significantly shorter wait times for appointments than area hospitals; a 16-slice Siemen's CT scan; Hologic Discover C Bone Density machine; ultrasound, including Echocardiograms, and X-Ray.

Our Diagnostic Imaging Center is consistently praised for its positive, qualified staff and easy, effective services.

Our Sugical Department is under the direction of Putnam, Conn. resident Linda Pasay. Pasay has a bachelor’s of science, with a concentration in healthcare administration. She is a certified registered nurse and operating room supervisor.

A two-bed sleep study highlights one of the newest additions to Hubbard Hospital. Under the medical direction of pulmonary care specialist Dr. Mohammad Khamiees, the sleep study enables patients to undergo an observational stay in the hospital by a trained technologist.
The sleep study offers an analytical and diagnostic evaluation of common sleep ailments, such as snoringm, daytime sleepiness, restless leg syndrome and insomnia. A quiet wing offers patients comfort and privacy while relaxing in their private room, including a bathroom, closet space, sink and large flat-screen television.
Kevin Robert, Registered Polysomnography Technician, is the new clinical supervisor and coordinator for the Pulmonary and Sleep Clinic at Hubbard Hospital. Kevin has brought many positive additions, including referral forms for physicians, automatic reschedules and fast turnarounds for report readings.
